Born in Romania, raised in Toronto and now living in Berlin, she describes a synthesis of the violin and keyboard lessons she had in her childhood, discovering her parents' vinyl treasures and the hip-hop freestyling of her student days.

Paired with her love of techno, which she discovered somewhat later in the clubs in Toronto, as well as the musical influences of Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink and Juan Atkins, to name a few, the versatile artist also developed a talent for entertaining audiences and surprising them over and over again.

Play > Since appearing on the techno scene a few years ago, Simina has released music with a variety of labels, including the Berlin-based label, Sonat Records, Phase Insane Records from Spain, as well as with Italian Intelectro Vibe, Urbansound and Frequenza Records labels. With the release of her chart-topping debut album, EXIT CITY, on Susumu Records, Simina is now focusing on touring, and is eager to start work on her next album.

Fast Forward >> In addition to her recent production, Simina has begun her EXIT CITY TOUR, an extensive touring schedule throughout Europe, and later this year, she is once again lined up as the opening act for the PK Tour with Paul Kalkbrenner. Simina is definitely one of techno’s burgeoning talents to watch. Her performance and hard work are quickly building credibility and earning her much deserved attention in these early years of her career.
