After attending college, he was commissioned into the active duty Air Force as a Air Transportation Officer. In 2008 he transferred to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to serve a 4-year tour. Following the completion of his tour, he transitioned into the Air Force Reserve, to serve part time so that he would be able to call Hawaii his home. He enjoys surfing and is currently pursing his MBA.
