Birth Place: Waco, Texas

Birthday: August 12, 1982

Genres: Gospel, Neo Soul

Styles: Worship, Soul

From an early age, Shavonne was introduced to the power of music through an extensively talented musical family. Shavonne has a rich musical heritage influenced by her uncles Oliver and Lawrence Scott Sr. (both former members of the G.A.P. Band) and has won numerous talent competitions since the age of 16, including the “Waco’s Got Talent 2011” event.

Shavonne was “officially” discovered by musical producer James Brandon Baggett when he selected Shavonne to sing one of his songs for a group that he was producing. When James launched a record label venture in 2011, he brought Shavonne onboard and began producing her debut single “DANCE”.

Shavonne has a unique “contralto” voice that has been showcased nationally singing for esteemed singers such as, Leandria Johnson, The Anointed Worshipers, Mama Sue and Dontavies Boatwright (of B.E.T.s’ “Sunday’s Best”). Shavonne is also an avid songwriter and licensed minister of the gospel.

Shavonne has set for herself a monumental goal to create music that will minister globally, music that will reach the “unreachable” and to present a message that will cross religious barriers. Shavonne was recently quoted stating, "I'm doing my best to make sure that nations come to know the simplicity of God; no complex words and no textbooks needed. I'm just teaching the Bible. God can and will perfect the rest”.
