• 1998 – The band was formed under influences of Pearl Jam & early Radiohead, named Airbag
• 2000 – Some line-up changes & new name Ty Cobb, also changed musical style. Now it’s more heavy & aggressive, influenced by Snot, Deftones & Godsmack

• 2001 – First demo tape on Russian language

• 2002 – Concert activity, the band played about 30 shows during this year. After that the musicians decided to stop the joint activities for a while because they had some arguments inside the band

• 2004 – The band actually doesn’t exist, but finally guys formed their ownrehearsing studio & gave the band a new name – Ebola

• 2005 – Rehearsing of new material followed by recording of self-titled Lp album. In the summer album was issued with a small volume. Instantly after the recording sessions the bass player & the drummer left the band

• 2007 - New drummer joins the band. Already three together the guys gradually start to reanimate the rehearsal activity. The new stuff turns out to be slightly different. At present all members desire to play a certain mix of hard/stoner/grunge/southern/blues with English lyrics

• 2008 - The band was finally complete with the bass player

• 2009 - The band, which is now called Sex Type Thing, releases ‘The Southern Dreams From The Northern Reality’ Ep. At the same time guys renewals the concert activity

• 2010 - Change as a part of participants of collective. New bass player & drummer joins the band. Preparation for recording a new album

• 2011 – The band releases ‘Checked Up By Time’ Ep & after that former members decides to freeze the activity for uncertain time
