but when I get some free time, I like to tinker with projects around the house. I also enjoy playing guitar, and I like to get out for a walk when I can. My TV is only connected to a DVD player, so the only news I get is on the internet.

After driving all week, it just feels good to be home, and usually I don't have a desire to go anywhere. I'm starting to feel the effects of age, and noticed lately how I enjoy sleeping more often. I've always been fascinated by the physics of motion, whether it's motorcycles, airplanes, boats, or bullets. But the greatest wonder is the animation of life: the motion of God's creatures. "For in him we live, and move, and have our being..." (Acts 17:28). I'm a curious person, and I wonder about many things. I was 16 years old when it first hit me that I had an expiration date. If there's a purpose in life, I better figure out quick what it is. I became frustrated because I had questions that no one seemed to have any answers to. The things I had learned didn't add up, and there was no purpose in any of it. I prayed for answers, and started reading the Bible for myself. What I learned is that there is a God, and He has been gracious to give me the answers that I asked Him for. He has not left us alone. The answers have been in the Bible all along.
