Kushman currently serves as Managing Member of Kushman Media LLC a full service content creation company, and is the creator & host of ComedyHit.com.

Kushman received 7 TV Alliance for Community Media awards including Station of the Year Award for the New England Chapter, Educational Profile Show for the national Hometown Awards, best talk show with Dr. Bernie Siegel & Rika Welsh Award while at BCTV.

Kushman also produced and directed exclusive celebrity interviews with Friar’s Club Comedian and Writer Jeffrey Gurian for Comedy Matters TV.Kushman and Gurian interviewed Kristen Schaal, Clive Davis, Judy Collins,Geraldo Rivera, and Laurie Dhue and Michael kaufman.

Kushman has directed numerous broadcasts of the television news adaptation of the “Branford Eagle”, an online section of the New Haven Independent Journalism Project. Kushman produced an in-depth interview with world-renown ChefJacques Pepin for BCTV in 2008. Kushman has directed & produced over 1000 hours of live and live-to-tape programs since 2007. Kushman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications,specializing in Production from Southern Connecticut State University, & holds a certification in Comedy Writing through The Upright Citizen’s Brigade.
