He founded APPARITION in 1967 and released "Apparition"/Astral Spirit" in early 1973 on Nebula Records. He later formed THE SILLIES in early 1977, releasing "Break Loose" in 1979 and the album/CD "AMERICA'S MOST WANTON" in 2002. The Sillies also appeared on various anthology/various artist albums throughout the 80's, 90's. and 2000's.Scott Campbell recorded and performed under his own name from 1982 through 2001, including the single "I'm Saving Myself For Angela Cartwright"/"The Gates Of Hell" in 1986 and the CD "THE DECLINE & FALL OF SCOTT CAMPBELL" in 2001.
