I was born in S. Indiana.
Grew up there and in Cali, Colorado and Florida. Also lived for a time in AZ and Arkansas. Now I live in Northern Georgia. I'm married to an awesome guy and we hope to have a baby one day, but currently do not have kids. I'm disabled for now, until I can stand on my own two legs and feet with out needing to sit down after 20 to 30 minutes.

I have severe gout that has ravaged nearly all my joints and put me in a wheel chair for 3 years. (Part of that is also to blame on a doctor who gave up on helping me and told me to stay off my ankle) Those 3 years made my leg bones as soft as a 98 year old woman's and I had osteoporosis from not walking. So I had to learn to walk again and then after that I could drive myself to physical therapy. That has only done so much and my weight issues, caused mostly by having PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), have made it harder to recover and be more active. I've also developed a few other co-morbidities. So, I have decided, along with my primary care doctor and my husband, to have WLS or weight loss surgery. I'm getting the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy done. The sort of weight loss I require, I can't seem to lose conventionally. I even GAINED weight last week when I cut my caloric intake down by 1/3 and cut out all soda. I lost those 4 lbs. this week and this is quite normal for me. I plateaued at my current weight and can not seem to lose on my own. The amount I plan to lose with this surgery will bring me to the weight that my body is suppose to be, to be healthy and should also get rid of most of my PCOS symptoms. Including my co-morbidities which are high trigs, high blood pressure, endometrial hyperplasia, and infertility.
