Born into a musical family, she started learning guitar, flute, African djembe and piano at age 5. She got her first taste of International stardom at age 10 while touring Europe as a member of a children’s chamber choir. From age 16, she began an extensive professional solo-touring career, which took her through the U.S., Australia, Canada and Europe. She has performed as a member or guest of many acts including Freedom Tribe, Prezident Brown, Hamsa Lila, the Funginears, Shimshai, Tina Malia, Goddess Alchemy Project, Random Rab, Anasia, J. Boogie, Vibesquad, Mimosa, Eoto, Lynx,Janover, Everyone Orchestra and others. In 2009, she performed in a choir backing Joan Baez. In 2011, she became a central member of the collective Liberation Movement, a collaborative project with Resurrector of Heavyweight Dub Champion and Shipibo Shamans from the Peruvian Amazon. Starting in 2009, Sasha became one of the most sought after DJs for Ecstatic Dance and Ecstatic Dance styled events throughout California. She has performed at over 30 such dances including multiple appearances at Ecstatic Dance, Mass Transit, Dance Journey and others. Her popularity with the spiritually focused dance crowd comes from her unique hybridization of original production featuring her celestial vocals and flute playing with carefully selected inspirational dance tracks from various artists. Her performances flow from heart song grooves to tribal rhythms to down tempo dance dub to ecstatic inspirational ascensions to higher realms.

In 2012, Sasha has taken her live solo show to festivals throughout the US including Sonic Bloom, Symbiosis Gathering, Enchanted Forest, Evolutionary Fourth, Raindance Campout, Photosynthesis and more.

In her musical production, Sasha creates luscious soundscapes and thick bass lines bridged by her soulful, angelic voice and a variety of live instrumentation. Her original lyrics bring awareness and create a deep earth connection to her listeners.

Sasha has released two solo acoustic albums as Sasha Butterfly, Grace (2001) and Creation Song(2004). She has recorded vocals on over 30 projects including two Random Rab albums, the Interchill release Gathering of the Tribes with her project Kinship, Mimosa’s 2009 album Hostilis and Tea Leaf Green’s 2008 album Raise Up The Tent. In 2011 she co-produced Qi Goddess (with Jami Deva), which is geared towards healing and meditation.
