Sandmarx recentlyfinished recording in studio with producer Bjørnar Nilsen, and Arve “Icedal”Isdal who also plays for Enslaved and Audrey Horne. Their album will be readyfor its release this summer, and a new single with a music video is comingsoon.
Sandmarx is amodern hard rock band, formed in Norway in the fall of 2009 by vocalist SandraSzabo and guitarist Marcus Greenway. In 2011 Jørgen Digranes joined on drums, and later in 2013 new members Paal Schrøder on rhythm guitar and Kjetil Beijeron bass completed today’s line-up.
After countlessshows in different cities of Norway, a small tour in England where Sandmarxplayed in London and Birmingham, and support gigs for legendary bands like L.AGuns and Audrey Horne, Sandmarx was discovered by Adamo Music, and in March2014 they signed a management deal with them.
In 2012 theyreleased the EP "Fancy Cars and Fat Cigars" with songs like "Buythe World" and "Liar". A music video for "Liar" wasreleased in the summer of 2013, produced by a team from Oslo.
Sandmarx alwaysgives a 110% of themselves on stage, something that reflects the number of newfans after each show and the feedback from the audience, concert managers andother business people.

“As I close my eyes it strikesme that I might as well be on a Guns N 'Roses concert in the late 80's. But I'mnot on the Ritz. The year is not 1988, and the band is not about to break up. Iopen my eyes and see the new wine frolic uncontrollably onstage. Awesome riffs, and with a vocalist so feminine that not even Axl Rose can reach up. Rock isnot dead, it's not even sick. With Sandmarx, rock will live in 100, if not 1000years”
