The opening track “Dead Inside” got airtime on radio as well as on TV. In the early spring the band went on a tour through Scandinavia with metalcore maniacs Centurion; and in the fall a similar tour with their Diamond worshipping friends in Icons of Horror.

In 2009, due to irreconcilable differences, the band parted ways with its former record label, and made their debut album available for free online. In 2011 SANCTRUM was invited to participatein the "Metallsvenskan" tournament broadcasted on the network “TV4sport” Later that year one of the original guitarist, Volkan, decided to leave the band due to various reasons.The search for a replacement was neither long nor arduous; the position was almost instantly filled by Alex Tollin.

The EP "Autumn" was recorded in may 2012 andwas released for free online. The title track also appeared on the compilation “Sicksound - A New Era”(Sickhouse Sound Production HB). SANCTRUM won the 25th Villa de Bilbao musiccontest in Spain in 2013.

The yet to be released album entitled “ROT” wasr ecorded during September-October 2014 with LawrenceMackrory (F.K.Ü. Darkane).
