Besides acting He was a third part of a singing group "Worlds-A-Part" (WAP) with K. Grier and J.Montel. They were sign to Atlantic Records just to be placed onto the shelf. (Ouch!) in addition to the shelf life, WAP has provided back ground vocals for many other artist on Major and indie labels.

They also toured with comedian and actor Tracy Morgan and Legendary Kool DJ Red Alert. The group split in the mid 90's; however you can expect to see them perform again followed by Samiyo's solo project. As a solo artist, Samiyo enjoys recording lead and all of his harmonious back vocals. And in the near future you can expect him to work his acting chops to appear in a few indie films.
