Labeled "Baltimore's finest in dixieland" by the Citypaper, Sac Au Lait is a group of misfits that play traditional and not-so-traditional dixieland jazz in and around Baltimore.
The group has been swinging for close to ten years and continues to do all types of gigs, from street playing to weddings. They are also known to play the occasional bar, swing dance, or festival. Although the band name literally means 'sack of milk' in French, the Sac-Au-Lait (better known as the White Perch or White Crappie) is the official freshwater fish of the state of Louisiana.
