Born in the barrios of the Central American country of Guatemala among humble surroundings, Luis Lopez, or Sabio, was brought up in a modest, but tremendously admirable family that has always been musically oriented, with his father being the leader of a very popularly respected band in the area, and eventually on an international level; Sabio grew up to be motivated in the art form of deep message brought forth through musical cords, of which he indeed has become one of the dominators!

Having written his very first lyric in 1999, and then producing his very first beat in 2001, Sabio has unleashed since then a total legacy. In 2003 he released his classic debut album ideally titled "Contra la Envidia" (Against all Envy). This was followed by a seriously vast series of hits that were followed by numerous fans on a now global scale, through effective methods such as the internet and the powerful word of mouth.One of his produced beats was featured on the sountrack to an antigang documentary that was aired on the Univision Latin network in 2005. Sabio has also gained great exposure through colaborations with other artists, both local and wide distance; some of whom he has helped produce and develop. In 2006 Sabio graced us with "Dando Cultura" (Giving them Culture) which allowed passage for his first spectacular video for the widely appreciated single "Respirar el Aire" (To Breathe the Air) featuring Flip Nyce

Sabio is also very recognized for his cordial guest appearances at many events such as the Honduran Fest, Community Charities, and numerous radio stations in the US, Latin America and the Caribbean. Right now his new album called "Revelaciones" is available in itunes which he made 3 music videos "La conoci en la calle", "Ayudame a olvidarte", and "Siempre estas ahi". He also did a collabo with Yesudian Cruz called "Te Quiero" has more than 1,000 downloads in itunes. And now, the genial artist, who stands far out in more than one form, continues planning and executing piece after piece, clearly manifesting the Gift from God to the human brain through the sharing of his music.
