Later, tha band was staffed with the guitarist of "Amederia" Danila "Skorb" and Naberezhnye Chelny got one more mature musical band, playing pagan folk/doom metal.The first scetches of the material determined the search of inspiration "RUYAN" in the sources, which were gone into the oblivion, having the spirit of Slavic mode of life with the doom and black metal atmospheric styles. Each new song the powerful musical-textual atack of the "RUYAN" brings the listeners back to those times, when the Native Gods were honoured, ancestors' covenants were held, and were one whole world.

The youth of the band wasn't an obstacle for their performing on one stage with such famous bands in their stream as Kalevala, Arkona, Rarog, Beer Bear, Anabioz, Ivan Tsarevich etc.

The end of 2010 was marked by the release of the debute album of the "RUYAN" named "Ancestry" on Sound Age Production. The work on recording the album begun at April and ended on CDM records in Moscow at October, thanx to qualified mastering and mixing of Sergey "Lazar" Artashkevich. During the presentation of the first album, the band performed in many cities with the part-session one of the veteran of the Celny's underground - the guitarist of the "Alkonost" Andrey Losev. And since recently, the bulk of "RUYAN" got a permanent bass-guitarist Sergey "Magnus" with whom band performed at the "ULETAI-2011" festival and International music award Eurasian Sympho-Rock Music Awards 2011, where "RUYAN" became the winners and got the Grand-Prix. March, 2011 "RUYAN" participated in the annual folk festival at Ufa. With the "Ancestry" programm band had a tour in such cities as: Samara, Chebokasry, Izhevsk, Kazan, Ulianovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Moscow, aslo not forgetting tneir native Naberezhnye Chelny.

March, 2014 the Ukranian tour was canselled, due to the political situation in the country.

The second album of Ruyan The "White Swan" came to life in April 2014. Dense and high-power flow of the guitar sound and rhythm-section combined with the flute, balalaika, harp and bagpipes opened for the folk fans the other side of the Slavic metal. The unique growling of the soloist Daria Rodonitsa accompanied with the sessional male voices made the atmosphere of the light sorrow and grief. The great power of the human Kind, earthly love and the pain of losing a beloved one - are the main themes of the Ruyan's new album. Its northern lyrics is full of the mystical texts and melancholy. Through the constructive doubts and the prejudices of the crowd Ruyan is keeping its lifetime opus in a best traditions of theold school metal. We would specially like to mention the high-quality mixing and mastering of the Belarusian «DRYGVA STUDIO», who retained the original sound of the Ruyan for the fans of the band and all the pagan metal fans. Presentation of the album was held in Moscow at the folk-fest "Usladov Pir"
