After leaving the Bavarian-Samba group BavaRio, Zapf went on to pursue a solo career, offering dulcimer interpretations of music ranging from classical to jazz, as well as traditional Bavarian arrangements.
He has collaborated on Musikalische Weltreise (World Trip) which offers music ranging in origin from Latin America to the Far East, and one can also get a sense of his varied abilities on Hammer Dolce. ~ Leon Jackson
