Robert first came into the picture with his collaboration with singer Esther Van Hees, releasing the EP 'Got Wings' with compositions of his hand with Esther's lyrics.

From 2011-2014 they worked together and shared the stage with established musicians as Eric Vloeimans and Yuri Honing. In 2014 Robert and Esther went their seperate ways, and since than Robert has been invited as a young upcoming jazz pianist to play at the 5th of May concert with the NJO (National Youth Orchestra) with a.o. guest vocalists Herman van Veen and Giovanca. During the summer of 2015 he'll be touring with the NJJO 2015 (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) with artictic leader Martin Fondse,

The coming year he'll use to explore new styles of music, explore new jazz scenes and work towards his new project as a band leader and composer.
