Richard Corman is a world renowned photographer whose work varies widely in style and subject matter, yet it's always intensely focused on the human spirit.
As a portrait photographer, Corman has worked with a thrilling breadth of subjects from Nobel Peace Prize recipients Nelson Mandela and James Dewey Watson to esteemed actors such as Robert De Niro, Paul Newman and Al Pacino. Corman has also worked with artists before they reached stardom, including Madonna and Keith Haring. He's also worked with elite athletes who inspire greatness, like Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan, and writers/ar tists who have left an indelible mark including Kurt Vonnegut, Basquiat, and Naguchi . Humbling experiences with many socio-cultural projects and non-prof it organizat ions are reflected in the continued variety of Corman's photographs. Most notable is his personal and heart-felt work with the Special Olympics - he has been traveling the word and photographing t hese inspiring athletes for over two decades . Corman has also found great f ulf illment in his work with Amnesty International, United Way, March of Dimes and Muhammad Ali's Parkinson 's Center.
