René Jardorf is a part time, singer/songwriter and guitarist who formed the band; The Firemen in Lyngby, Denmark in 1966 together with his classmate Peter Viskinde, (later Malurt, Doraz, Big Fat Snake, Buffalo).
The Firemen played mainly cover songs from Kings, Rolling Stones,Dylan etc. and had a lot of gigs playing schools, clubs, private partys and made the debut on the Bellevue Theater,Copenhagen,Later in 1969 René Jardorf formed the band Freemen a trio, leadguitar, drums and bassguitar, playing lots of jobs as a backup band for the band, The Wild Things, mostly own songs as well as psychedelic, Flower Power influenced music.
The music has never left me, so I have been recording my own music in my home studio for decades,.. some of it you can listen to here, or Down load from the Itunes Store.
