Found from the east of Thailand in September 2010 by two members of A Good Day For Killing(Brutal Death), Ekkachai.
K on vocals and Tossapol.B on Drums with the purpose to unleash the aggressive fury and show up their another favorite kind of metal music that they've been listening to like "THRASH METAL". After asking, talking, and audition with some good and some stupid musicians, they still could not find the right maniacs who were fit for the band. Until late of October 2010 they asked their old friends Natthawut.K and Sakchai.P to join the band as bassist and guitarist respectively. All went well, they spent the time during end of year 2010 and early 2011 played cover songs of Sepultura(only old stuffs) and of course wrote their own songs. May 2011 they entered a studio in Rayong to record their debut demo which was simply entitled “DEMO 1”. Next month they had a great chance to share the stage with alcoholic thrashing monsters “TANKARD”. And they were successful for playing that show, they got really crazy responses from the maniacs. In July 2011 they had a plan to play at Sick Chainsaws gig as a supported band for Unholy Grave the grindmaster from Japan, but the guitarist Sakchai.P just disappeared with unknown reason 1 week before the show. So the rest members just left him behind and moved forward by asking Ray.M(Savage Deity, Calamitous) to take place on guitar position immediately. He agreed to join the band then and quickly learned all REMAINS songs and went to the band’s place to rehearse with the other members. Incredibly he could play all the band’s setlist within 2 days before the show. So that time he helped REMAINS through the hard period and had done an aggressive show with the band. In the meanwhile REMAINS first demo titled “DEMO 1” had been released under a Siamese cult label “Witchhammer Productions”. A month later Sakchai.P contacted the band and asked to re-join the band again. After talked with him seriously, the band decided to give him a chance to be a part of REMAINS again. So REMAINS become a 5-piece band then, and they were stronger than ever. In November 2011 they flew to play at Carnage fest in Singapore and that was their first live show outside Thailand. The show was successful, they got the awesome support from SingaHell maniacs. After got back to their homeland, they got a greatest deal to play at True Thrash fest in Osaka, Japan in February 2012, along with Thrash metal legend “Sacrifice”(Canada) and Witchburner(Germany), Vault(Malaysia) and many great local supports. But unfortunately, after working and fighting really hard to get Japanese Visa, Ekkachai.K the vocalist of the band was the only one who got it, the rest members were denied with unknown reason. Anyway “The show must go on”. Ekkachai.K and Miki who was the organizer of True Thrash fest tried hard to work something out together. Finally with kindly help from some Japanese musicians, Ekkachai.K flew to Osaka and made the show of Remains happen by performing with Japanese line-up. That was greatest experience he would never forget. One week later REMAINS with original line-up played as a supported band for the show of mighty Japanese heavy metal group “Metalucifer” in Bangkok. It was an honor without doubt. During April and March 2012 they were in a studio to record their second demo, simply called as DEMOTAPE#2. And in this September they flew to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to be a part of KL Thrashed 2012. In the meanwhile the DEMOTAPE#2 was released under a new label “Thrash of the Dead”. Beware of REMAINS!!!
