I started writing songs at aged 8. After leaving school, I studied music at Dartington College of Arts in Devon. My debut album was released in 2008 with Right Recordings, entitled ‘After The Rain’, and was produced by Riko at Regal House Studio in Wisbech, Cambs.

My new record, ‘A Christmas Gift (For Everyone)’ was recorded at Start Together Studios in Belfast and produced by Ryan McGroarty.

I wanted to write something that might bring some light in what can be a very dark and depressing time of the year. It’s what I believe the Christmas season is really all about. No matter what people’s circumstances are this Christmas, my hope is that they might be uplifted by the song.

The ‘B-side’ to the single is called ‘Invitation’ and incorporates both analogue and digital instruments. Dynamically, it’s a pop song of two halves and the lyrics are intended to be both thought-provoking and encouraging.
