Life is funny, last time I was on here I was living in Alaska, in the Air Force, married and loving life.
But the thing about life is it has a way of kicking you in the gut, following up with an upper cut to the jaw and laying you out. By the time you come to, your life is upside down and you can either continue to fall, or dust yourself off and kick its butt.I would like to think that is exactly what I am doing. I have since retired from the military after jumping to the Army and moving back to Tennessee, finding myself divorced and wondering what to do next. Still suffering from injuries sustained in Iraq.

Now here we are, reaching the end of 2016 and I am in my final semester pursuing my BAS in Criminal Justice (minor in Sociology). Remarried to a woman who is an amazing person and matches me perfectly. She keeps my head on a swivel. She is also more supportive and understanding than anyone I have ever met, and is better than I deserve.

Soon, although not soon enough, we hope to move back to Alaska, start up a farm and live our lives working side by side running our farm and retreat for wounded warriors and those who serve to keep our country safe and free. Military, LEOs, and all of the EMT community. Most importantly, I can not wait to return home and share the state I love with the woman and family I love.
