Writing, playing and recording his unique, melodic and lyrical blend of acoustically led pop rock, PJ's career began with the Irish band No Sweat, with whom he achieved his first number one hit.
"Heart and Soul" debuted in his native Ireland and went on to chart well in Europe and the U.S...the success of his song expanded over a period of 3 decades and is still being played and loved all over the world.

Currently living in Nashville, PJ has made a name for himself within the music industry as both a brilliant songwriter and performer. His credits include the much acclaimed "To Be Alive", co-written with Vivian Campbell and featured on Def Leppard's Euphoria album,”He’s a Cowboy” featured on Mark Wills’ album “And the Crowd Goes Wild”, “For all the Right Reasons”, “Stuck”, “Where the Sky Meets the Sea” & “Don’t Step on Me” co-written with Danish band “Hush” (Universal) and “Sounds”, “Slipping Under”, “Yesterday’s Calling”, co-written with William Tell featured in the album “You can hold me down” Universal).

Other band credits include The Search, Toe (with Tonic's Dan Lavery), and Clock, a band comprised of drummer Mark Schulman (Cher, Billy Idol, Pink), bassist Sasha Krivstov (Rock Star: INXS house band), and guitar master Vivian Campbell (Dio, Whitesnake, Riverdogs, Def Leppard).

Having been featured artist multiple times on the Local Lightning Spotlight on Nashville’s independent radio station, Lightning 100, PJ collaborates with rising stars like Amy Wilcox, Ashley Monroe (Pistol Annies), Ben Cyllus (Real Actual) and Kasey Smith (Wonderland).

Having built up a formidable fan base in both Ireland and the United States, PJ has garnered much critical acclaim for his no-nonsense, ardent live performances. Equally as entertaining with his acoustic guitar as with a full band, you are guaranteed to be taken on a journey you won't forget.
