HIs nomadic lifestyle has helped shape the heart of his music. His musical influences include Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams 3rd, Jerry Garcia, The Dubliners, Les Paul, Bo Diddley and many others. Mark has performed music for over 35 years, either solo or with others, in many bands and many venues, big and small. His musical experience varies widely, from busking on the street in New Orleans and Memphis to being chosen to perform in Glenn Branca's "Symphony for 100 Guitars" which was performed at the Seattle Art Museum's 75th Anniversary Gala.

bbOne of his life's highlights was to spend time with John Cash and June Carter Cash, when he was performing at the Glacier Park Lodge in Montana.
