Peter Hancock is a solo artist, singer songwriter from Salford, Manchester in the UK.
Peter has self-produced, engineered and performed all vocals and instruments on his current UK/US singles and forthcoming debut album. Peter's music is an innovative unique mixture of indie, funk, dance/pop and rock. The 1990s saw a popular underground Manchester band called Diverse make an appearance on the Manchester music scene, playing the Hacienda, Board Walk, Road House, Night and Day Cafe. Peter Hancock was lead singer, lead guitarist and songwriter. The band played Manchester from 1995 to 1997, when they split up. Building on the success of Diverse, AK47 was create, an Edgy Funk Punk band, who packed venues in the city centre but disbanded in early 2001.

Peter Hancock has now returned, with his release of his second UK/US solo single. A debut album is in the pipe line, along with a second album, and some live shows.
