Overfall is a Melodic Metal proyect founded by the vocalist Joseph Ghard and the guitarist Guillermo Gil. They started to work at the Begining of Junary of 2011. The chosen style was Melodic Metal, with influences from melodic death metal.

Powerfull guitars, Melodic clean / scream voices and existentialist lyrics, will try to made of Overfall a new and fresh idea about Metal.

Having a clear idea of what to do, Joseph and Guillermo start to search new musicians who have the same idea to work.

Shortly after, Melisa Val joins to the proyect as female voice. She liked proyect style and was thrilled about the idea to join Joseph at the voices and make a duo.

Subsequently come´s Borja Aguado, with fresh and good ideas at the compositions and keyboards.

After that, the join of the bassist Raúl Ruiz and the Drummer Damien Fernandez to the line up, Overfall increase the band´s level.

Finally, Chema Martinez , with maestry on the guitars, close the line up.

At the middle of 2012, Guillermo Gil, one of the founders, had to leave the band because work matters. After a while, Raúl Ruíz leave the band as a result of personal reasons.

Actually Overfall are on the coposition and production of the demo.

With dedication, effort and hope the new album will see the light on 2013. We are woking hard for it.

Overfall es un proyecto de Metal Melódico creado por el vocalista Joseph Ghard y el guitarrista Guillermo Gil. Una vez elegido el estilo y la metodología de trabajo, empezaron a trabajar intensamente a mediados Enero del 2011. El objetivo del proyecto es conseguir un sonido unico capaz de reflejar una idea fresca y comprometida encuadrada en el estilo de metal melódico.

Rapidamente se pusieron manos a la obra en la busqueda de musicos comprometidos a los cuales convenciera la idea del proyecto.

Poco tiempo después no tardaba en incorporarse a la nave, la vocalista Melisa Val, a la cual llamó mucho la atención la idea de que el grupo fuera a trabajar con dos voces, masculina y femenina.

Posteriormente, le tocó el turno a Borja Aguado, cuyas virtudes al teclado y sobre todo en la composición, aportan un toque de calidad y frescura.

Después, con las incorporaciones de Raúl Ruiz al bajo y de Damien Fernandez como bateria, el grupo dio un salto de calidad. Finalmente, Chema Martinez fué la útima pieza en unirse a la banda, reforzando las guitarras con maestría. A mediados del 2012 Guillermo Gil, uno de los fundadores de la banda, debe abandonar la formación por motivos laborales. Al poco tiempo fue Raúl Ruiz el que abandonaba el grupo por motivos personales.

Actualmente Overfall se encuentran en la composición y producción de la maqueta.
