Just found one coin during my daily one hour walk. Got my new Daiwa Emcast 5500A salt water spinning reel from Cabela's yesterday, then transferred the line from my Daiwa Pro Emblem 5500 to it. Went fishing in 66 degree Carnegie Lake yesterday evening on a warm, sunny day with a very strong south wind after rain showers and a cold front. Only saw 5 other fishermen there. The ultralight jiggers caught and released lots of fish. A basser caught and released a > 5 lb largemouth bass after his tall, blonde girl friend took pics. They were there for only a few minutes. After I threw out a can of corn for chum, I didn't get a hit until after 6 PM. I caught and released 4 white perch and a bluegill with my white 1/32 oz lead head jig and 1" white twister tail on 2 lb test line. I didn't get a bite on my homemade corn meal bait on a red #8 treble hook and 12 lb test line until after 6:30 PM. I landed a 13" brown bullhead then an 18" white catfish on my last cast for the day.
