The band was formed early 2013 by Pim Wesselink and Thomè de Souza. Originallythe band started as nothing more than a sideproject but eventually Oscillys became a lot more than "just a sideproject".

Pim and Thomè had a passion for music with a lightambient feel and decided to make this kind of music instead of just listeningto it. Despite the fact that Oscillys had a slow start as a band and lots of troublefinding members they continued rather as a project than a band. As theycontinued writing their music a few songs were born.

Later in 2014 Oscillys became more of a band whenBen Kühtreiber joined in as second guitarist and Nando Bemelmans became their BassPlayer. Since Jacky de Ruiter joined in as their vocaliste the band is workinghard on their debut album “From The New World”.

Oscillys is a band with a unique sound which can berecognized by a combination of ambient sounds, different music styles and oftena progressive and rhythmic Guitar and drum pattern.
