Operators is a synth pop project led by Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs), with drummer and Divine Fits bandmate Sam Brown, and Macedonian multi-instrumentalist Devojka.
After some well-received live shows in Canada, the group signed with Last Gang Records, which issued EP, Vol. 1 in the summer of 2014 as Operators headed out on tour in support of Future Islands. A tour of Canada and the Eastern U.S. with New Pornographers followed in early 2015. Their New Order-ensuing, dancefloor-friendly full-length debut, Blue Wave, arrived in 2016. ~ Marcy Donelson
