Venezuelan vocalist whose music and singing studies (over 24 years at the present) have been carried out by teachers Lina Brando, Humberto Diez, César Muñoz and Pedro Salas in Caracas. Received "Master Classes" with David Sorrin Collyer in New York, teacher of Liza Minelli and Tony Bennet, and Madrid, with Helena Vallalta from Superior School of Singing. In the present, she´s studying the Music Carreer, “Jazz singing Emphasis”, at the EAFIT University, Medellín, Colombia. These have been combined, uninterruptedly, with the recording of jingles for over 17 years until 1999.

She has shared the stage with international artists like Leny Andrade (the lady of Brazilian Jazz) and Mercedes Sosa. On the national stage with renowned artists like Aldemaro Romero, Simón Díaz, Rafael "El Pollo" Brito, Aquiles Baez, Huáscar Barradas, Alfredo Naranjo, Rafael Galindo, Aníbal Abreu, Maria Rivas, Biella Da Costa, Miguel Delgado Estévez, El Cuarteto , Pedrito López, Ma Teresa Chacin, Luz Marina, Alexis Cardenas, Guillermo Carrasco, Henry Martinez, Gerry Weil, Luis Julio Toro, Cheo Hurtado, Jorge Glem, C4 Trío, César Orozco, Pablo Gil, Víctor Mestas, Víctor, Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas, Orquesta Sinfónica Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, among many others.

Current member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences LARAS Recording (GRAMMY ®), is dedicated to the independent production of tributes to Venezuelans composers mostly. National Artist Award nominee in 2000 as "Musical Revelation" for her first album “Brasil in black & white”.

On 2001, she recorded next to Aldemaro Romero, her second album “Aldemareando”, for whom Ofelia was one of his pampered and who wrote for this record, the following words: "... Because it has been already said, there are musicians, singers or simply just singers. Ofelia belongs to the first group for her original condition, because of that special talent that derives from her enviable romantic-jazz phrasing, that makes her special and outstanding... " For this CD Aldemaro shares with her, so the Assembly Gurrufío, Simón Díaz, Ilan Chester and Otmaro Ruiz. She actually, serves on the Aldemaro Romero`s Foundation.

Her third album (2004) “Vino Tinto” was dedicated to the composer Henry Martinez, creator of iconic songs like "On your return," which was included in this record next to the great singer Guillermo Carrasco. This work was presented next to the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Caracas.

In her fourth album (2006), “Simón Díaz Universal”, offered a tribute to one of the most popular and recognized composers of ours: Simon Diaz, (Latin Grammy winner) which was received a treatment of world music to each song, arranged with rhythmic flavor sister cultures like bachata, bossa-nova, latin-jazz, tango and bolero. She invited professionals like Chano Domínguez (most important representative of flamenco-jazz of the world), Alberto Naranjo, Charlie Frómeta, Aquiles Baez, Otmaro Ruiz, Huascar Barradas, Alfredo Naranjo and Alexis Cárdenas among others.

In 2007, she produced “Flor de Mayo”, CD devoted to the Master Otilio Galíndez. This time, under the Aquiles Báez Musical Production and the special participation of the Quartet, Rafael Pollo "Brito and C4 Trio. This album was nominated "Best Album of South and Central America" for Just Plain Folks Music Awards Organization, Nashville, USA.

In 2009, Ofelia made a tribute to Maestro Billo Frómeta as a composer, with pieces very emblematic of his own, arranged by Gustavo Carucí and within the genres of bolero, the Caribbean-jazz, Cuban and other Latin fusions that give Title to this album: BILL'AZZ. Had the great fortune of having the "Caballero de la Salsa" Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Rafa Galindo, one of the most emblematic singers from the Orquesta Billo's Caracas Boys; and Alfredo Sadel by a live recording who immortalized the item and last sang at the Teatro Teresa Carreño. BILL'AZZ was the most selling album of 2009 in Venezuela. In this regard, César Miguel Rondón again was generous enough writing: "I said this is the most daring and risky album of Ofelia del Rosal, I forgot to say that, is the best too!”.

In this years 2010-2011, Ofelia had a new musical adventure: “Al Poeta” (THE POET), a delicate work dedicated to the Luis Laguna`s work, one of the most popular and traditional composers of our country. Creator of countless “merengue caraqueño”, waltz and joropos, now transformed into ballads, jazz, bossa, bolero and merengue with creative fusions and arrangements from Aquiles Báez. For this excellent production, had been called musicians like Gerry Weill, Cesar Orozco, Francisco Pacheco, Eddy Marcano and brothers Lovera (Vocalise), always with other extraordinary musicians starting with Adolfo Herrera and Robert Koch among many.

At the end of the year 2010, she made two very successful concerts under the concepts "Latin American Songbook" next to Víctor Mestas Quintet in the Room Corpbanca in Caracas, and "Venezuelan Songbook" in the prestigious concert hall of the University Simon Bolivar. Already in 2011 she was invited to participate as lead singer, in the play "Aldemaro: a chronic musical" written and directed by the Professor Federico Pacanins next to the Symphony Orchestra Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho directed by Prof. Elisa Vegas.

She was also invited to participate in the Festival of Jazz and new proposals from the Master Gregorio Montiel Cupello in Caracas, next to greats national and international groupings of the genre, such as "Port Candelaria" from Colombia.

In the year 2014, she made her 8th production "Entre pia-nos", a beautiful work in which is accompanied by great pianists as: Aldemaro Romero, Chano Dominguez (the great representative of flamenco-jazz from Spain), Gerry Weill, Otmaro Ruiz, Pedrito López, Victor Mestas, Leo Blanco and César Orozco, with whom she has worked throughout her musical career that already dates from more than 25 years.

This CD was produced in the city of Medellin, Colombia, where she´s residing currently doing the music studies with emphasis in ¨Jazz Singing¨ at EAFIT University. Then, in 2015, she produced "En-cantos de Venezuela", where compiled beautiful songs of the acquis popular accompanied by important local groups like Ensamble Gurrufío, C4 Trio, Alexis Cárdenas, Aquiles Baez Quintet, Gustavo Carucí, Miguel Delgado Estévez, among others.

At 2016, she´s offering her 10th production, the most important one, whit duets "Entre dos" (between two), featuring international artist like: Oscar D´León, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Amaury Gutiérrez, Francisco Pacheco, Ilan Chester, Simón Díaz, Guillermo Carrasco, Rafael "El Pollo" Brito, Rafa Galindo, Alfredo Sadel, Ensamble Vocal Cíncopah y Vocalisse. A beautiful work that resumes wonderfully, her 16th artistic years of record productions.

Now, 2018, She produced "Começar de Novo", a beautiful bossa-jazz work with Ivan Lins as a especial guest; songs of Tom Jobim, Ivan Lins, Edu Lobo, Luiz Bonfá and Roberto Menscal. Arranged and directed by Sam Farley from USA; with the special participations of great colombian musicians as Antonio Arnedo, Eduardo González, Sebastián Forero, Casey Dickey (USA), León Giraldo, Cristian Ríos and Camilo Uribe.
