      Went ultralight jigging in 53 degree Carnegie Lake this evening in the rain. Seven other fishermen were there. Caught a 22” channel catfish, 11” white crappie, white perch and 2 black crappies with a 1/32 oz Big Eye jig and Gulp on 2 lb test line. Shanghai Jack netted my catfish with brother John’s net after a long battle. Did lots of back reeling. An adult bald eagle landed in a nearby tree. Took pics. Rowers were on the lake.

      Went ultralight jigging in 52 degree Turnmill Pond this evening on a warm, sunny day with a light south wind. Caught and released two pickerel with a 1/8 oz twister tail leadhead jig on 4 lb test line. Took more than two hours to get my first hit. Evening fishing will be no good this week because of the full moon.

      Went ultralight jigging in Carnegie Lake this evening on a cloudy, cold day with a light southeast wind. Too many fishermen were there. Only caught and released a white catfish with a 1/32 oz Big Eye jig and Gulp on 2 lb test line. Park Police arrived at 6:15 PM and said leave now or get ticketed for fishing at night. Everyone left.

      Went ultralight jigging in 56 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a 50 knot south wind gale and cold front rain. Air temp was 77 degrees. Caught 4 black crappies, 3 white perch and a white catfish with a chartreuse Big Eye jig and chartreuse Gulp on two lb test line. Tied up a rig for Shanghai Jack, told him what to do, then he caught the most fish of his life.

      Went ultralight jigging in 48 degree Miry Run Lake at Dam Site 21 this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a moderate south wind. Five other fishermen caught and released two pickerel. Didn’t get a hit again like last Sunday.

      Went ultralight jigging in 50 degree Colliers Mills WMA this evening on a cold, cloudy day with a light southeast wind. Followed the trucker convoy to the rally at New Egypt Speedway. It was very inspirational to be with so many patriotic Americans. I am in many pictures and videos. Didn’t see any other fishermen. Heard lots of shooting from Fort Dix. Colliers Mills has been burned. Turtle heads were sticking out of the water. Found a turtle shell on the shore. Saw Canada geese, mallards, wood ducks, vultures, hawks, and great blue heron. Caught and released 6 pickerel and a largemouth bass with a 1/8 oz twister tail leadhead jig on 4 lb test line. Weeds were on my lure and line on nearly every cast. Saw fish chase my weed covered lure on many casts. A pickerel jumped out of the water after my lure but didn’t catch it. Landed 15 fish in 2 trips to Colliers Mills this year. Didn’t get a hit in Colliers Mills Lake or lose a lure.

      Went snow goose hunting at Delaware Bay this afternoon on a sunny, cold day with a light south wind and low tide. Didn’t see any hunters or hear any shots. No one was fishing. Saw a deer at East Point. A flock of 4 tom turkeys were at Moore’s Beach. Greater snow geese were at Egg Island. Didn’t get a shot in 6 trips this season.
