Her father plays the cello and her mother plays the piano. Kirsten started composing her own songs at an early age. She was the lead singer for three years in a soul/funk band called Splonge. Listening to all kinds of music is a big part of her life. Presently she lives in Copenhagen, and is working primarily at an daycare center/playground, besides being a songwriter. She is creating music with producers in Denmark and in the USA. Her music is a mixture of soul, pop and jazz. Her strongest inspiration comes from listening to tunes from Billie Holiday and Stevie Wonder.
