His music is usually created through live improvisation sessions playing guitars, bass, violin, theremin CD-case, e-drums, loops, software and a bunch of effects. On the other hand, a lot of tracks are processed field recordings and software-based exerpiments.

This results in multiple genres like (dark) ambient, noise, drones, drum & bass and lately drone-doom and industrial experimentality. But Misantronics is not afraid to try dub, techno, death metal or anything at all. Even combinations of multiple genres are possible.

Misantronics recorded multiple releases and music for numerous compilations. Currently the albums are release by Dutch label Het Donkse Oog. Previously the English label Dark Meadow Records was responsible for some full-cdrs.

Misantronics has played several gigs in Holland, Belgium, France and Germany but has since decided not to play live anymore. Although live appearances are planned with a new side project.

He's the founder and owner of Belgian label Amex Nori. A.N. usually releases compilations in a certain theme, like Zeitgeist, the Movie, the NSA list (The Most Searched for Compilation in the World) and others. A.N. also releases free Misantronics stuff and cooperations with other artists.
