Electro/ BreakbeatDJ with a deep passion for a bass line, here’s a girl who is not scared to mixit up with all kinds of funky sh*t !! Minxy is also establishingherself as a fledgling record producer. Her latest remix for Mr Bong –“Kold Produk”on Break Record label, came out last year.

Atthe last two editions of Glastonburyfestival, Da’ Minx cemented herparty credentials, with 6 prime timesets at the legendary Mutoid WasteCompany’s “The Unfair Ground”,voted the best field of Glastonbury by the Telegraph. Playing sets afterRudimental, Elite Force and Mr Carl Coxhimself!

Throughoutthe summer of 2014 she has continued to drop her signature of phat bass atfestivals all around the UK and throughout Europe, such as the Secret GardenParty, Beats for Love and Boomtown Fair.Thisyear she popped her Burning Man cheery and even brought the spirit back,playing at the Burn's London Decompression Party. Unlike her role model -Minnie the Minx - Minxy is highly animated behind the decks, and plays tunesthat refuse to let you sit still.

Throughout the summer of 2013 she hascontinued to drop her signature of phat bass at festivals all around the UK andthroughout Europe, such as the Secret Garden Party, Let It Roll and BoomtownFair.

Originally from the Czech Republic with Russianblood, Mini Da Minx honed her craft DJ-ing in Cape Town. Early signs of alatent talent however were evident when she set up a school radio station –playing the likes of The Prodigy and at the tender age of 15 she became anactive member of the Czech Pirate station “RADIO FREEDOM”.

After a move to Cape Town in 2002 shewas pushing Breaks and Underground tunes onto the South African music scenewhere she worked with African DopeRecords hosting numerousevents, including Chix in da’ Mix.Making an impact with her versatility and original style she began playingprime time sets alongside such industry heavyweights as Freq Nasty, Dj Vadimand Pascal at some of South Africa’s biggest festivals – Oppi Koppi, The CapeTown and OBS Festivals. Still involved in radio, but now running her own show, Breaking Point, but this time worldwide on Mutha FM. At this time abusy dj-ing schedule included tours of Europe, playing Paris, Edinburgh,Germany and Czech and this led to a move to the British Capital.

Since her move to London 7 years agoMini Da’ Minx has became a regular player on the UK scene. 2008 saw her beginsomething of a residency at the Mutoid Waste Company’s events, playing at theirMutate Britain exhibitions andincluding peak-time sets at every Glastonbury Unfair Ground and it’s previous incarnation Trash City. If you look really hard you can even see her riding onthe back of a mechanical Mutoid dinosaur in the Paralympics Closing Ceremony2012!!

The last 7 yearshave also witnessed a succession of unforgettable all-day events markingCamden’s Lockside Lounge Summer BBQseason. “Sunset Showdown”, “The LastParty of the Summer” etc – have all been CHIX In da’ MIX presentations (continuing the female Artist and Djcollaborative events initiated in Cape Town 2003) featuring such talentedindividuals as Flore, Janette Slack and Toni Jarvis.

Mini Da’ Minxcontinues to assault the airwaves with a divine sonic selection as a guest onRough Tempo Radio and also continue her forays into production workingalongside producers such as Vlad (TCR) and Wreckage (Wall of Sound).

More recently shehas played at the prestigious International Breakbeat Awards, the legendary TCR BBQ, and at KraftyKuts’ popular night in London.
