I have a very successful teaching method based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses; 25 years teaching experience. I’ve taught all Royal Conservatory of Music exams, and also enjoy teaching beginners; I also teach Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Rudiments. I have written exercises, introductory lessons, as well as papers on memory, ear training and sight reading, which I am developing into a method book. and composition grants from the Toronto Arts Council and the Laidlaw Foundation. I teach in a church studio by Commonwealth Stadium or could teach in your home. My rates are reasonable. I give progress reports, written feedback, helpful suggestions, and practice and sometimes writing work on a weekly basis. I’m very patient, approachable, educated,well-organised and creative.
