Maya Vik has previously won a Norwegian Grammy with Montée, sold gold records with her band Furia, played in Savoy with a-Ha’s Paul Waktaar, toured Europe with Lenny Kravitz.

In less than a year she has dropped two regionally released solo albums, played Norweigan festivals, once again supported Lenny Kravitz, toured Japan and played gigs in Russia and USA. From September 2013 she will do a residency at legendary Pianos in New York. "On It - EP" is her first international release.

Maya's solo material has received worldwide recognition from fans within the funk/boogie genre, and crossover pop success with her single "On It (Kapow!)". Contributors to her recent release are Block Beattaz (US), Royalty (UK), Morgan Phalen (US), and Oslo Records in-house producers Basmo Family and Chris Lee. Vik also has a strong presence in the fashion community. In 2007 she was voted the most beautiful woman in Norway by fashion magazine ELLE.
