Maximilian Law is an actor, producer and screenwriter.
In 2014 he came close to get an Oscar nomination, as one of his films was eligible by the Academy in the "Best Live Action Short Film" category. Founder of the Film Production Company "Perpetuus", he's spearheading the creation of the "Ferrara Film Festival" as Founder and Artistic Director.
Born in Ferrara, Italy and raised in Milan, Rome and Los Angeles, he started his acting career performing in Italian theaters since the age of 15.
At the age of 24, when he moved to Los Angeles, bringing his acting career to the next level, he kept perfecting his craft in acting and screenwriting until he founded his first Production Company at the age of 29.
With the extensive experience on film and commercial sets (he also produced more than 30 commercials) he started writing screenplays for feature and short films under the WGA. In 2012, at the age of 31, the second film he wrote ("Engage") was in the Official Selection for the Seattle Indiflix Film Festival and then sold to an American National TV Channel. The same deal was made for two more movies he produced the following year ("Tomorrow Will Be Another Day" and "The Painter").
As he kept exploring acting roles, he found himself very comfortable interpreting comedic characters ("Il Fenomeno", "Take 6", "Ropes Of Silicon", "J+C"), and from that moment he took himself very seriously in establishing his own brand. In 2015 he opened his new Production Company, "Perpetuus", specifically conceived to develop his own film projects. Besides the creation and development of the "Ferrara Film Festival", he's spearheading the "Italian-American Cinematheque" in Los Angeles, hosting monthly cinematic events, and collaborating with "Playboy Magazine" in producing news and educational videos.
