A graduate of Texas A&M University, he began playing and singing in the bars of College Station, Texas while earning his degree. Matt has lived, worked and played all over the state of Texas since leaving College Station in 1996, and today makes his home in Cuero, Texas where he is an independent petroleum landman as well as a working singer-songwriter and musician.
