I play mainly acoustic instruments via guitar pedals and unorthodox pickup and amplication systems. I combine a variety of genres such as sadcore/slowcore, shoegaze, bluegrass, classical, folk and jazz with a DIY punk attitude and experimental lo-fi sound. My lyrics explore all that it means to be human, with themes including love, pretend love, bullying and alienation, fear of death, acceptance of mortality and well, death! I usually am a solo artist, but sometimes collaborate with folk violinist Florence Meek and acoustic experimenter Edward Shipsides.
