Born and raised in Houston Texas, Mark Fain is anything but a stranger to the music world.
After playing in local bands Mark was recruited by Ivan DePrume (White Zombie) to join Anchor. After their release on Amphetamine Noise Records, Marks father fell ill and he returned to Houston where he formed Chlorine. Chlorine landed a deal with Timebomb /Arista/ BMG records and went to LA to record their debut album Primer at the legendary Sound City. Matt Hyde (Monster Magnet/Porno for Pyros) produced it and the band hit the road to promote, touring globally as both headliner and as support act for well known artists such as Alice Cooper, Buckcherry, Fuel, Sponge, Kid Rock etc...

Despite extensive touring Chlorine disbanded and Mark moved to Seattle to join Loaded with Duff McKagan (Guns-N-Roses, Velvet Revolver) playing lead guitar player.

After Loaded, Mark went into a writing frenzy creating a large library of music for licensing and his credits include feature films, tv, radio and the net. His favorite placement is the theme to “Stump the Trunk” on VH1’s That Metal Show.

It has been Mark’s privilege to collaborated with some of the finest players and producers in the industry. Today, Mark is putting the finishing touches on his solo album thats set to drop early 2014. Stay tuned!
