Marek Żukow-Karczewski was born 6 May 1961.
He is a Polish historian, journalist and publicist who deals with the history of Kraków, history of culture and the ecology issues. He studied history at the Jagiellonian University. Since 1980 he works for rescuing monuments in Krakow. He is the author of about 500 publications.
