Marcus David is a well- traveled drummer, graphic arteest, and raconteur. He spent 15 years in California playing and recording with the likes of Clover w/Huey Lewis, Albert King, Nick Gravenites and guitar legend John Cipollina. Returning to Chicago, he played gigs with Sunnyland Slim, Magic Slim, and was in the house band (Blue Watusis) at Buddy Guy's Legends. In 1997, Marcus joined The Fat Guys Band, where they burned up the roadhouse circuit. They recorded a critically acclaimed live cd, "Heart Of The Blues" at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn.

Marcus notes: About the music here.....leading off is something I put together on garageband that I call 'Cumown Widda Cumown',... it sets the groove for the page real neyszzhh!..Batting 2nd is 'Chicken Shack' with the Fat Guys Band....live! ..Up 3rd is a studio cut from Crash Willy called 'Vacationland'. ..Hitting clean-up is 'Junkyard In Malibu' by Nick Gravenites from his 'Bluestar' cd. .. Swingin' away 5th and 6th are a coupla more Fat Guy cuts from the very live 'Heart of the Blues' cd.... 'Apolitical Blues' and 'Big Fat Waitress'. ..Continuing down the line-up, are 2 more from Crash Willy...'Big Rain' and 'Mara'...And another Fat Guys live....'Mojo'...Last but certainly not least is 'House of the Blues' by the very Blue Watusis!
