Dexter F. Les Pierre-Luke is a very spiritual, honest, genuine, creative and innovative person who strives on setting the stage for persons to be motivated through his own life experiences.
His main objective in life is to inspire anyone who he comes into contact or have interactions with regardless of the circumstance. Dexter is a Caribbean based author (novelist) who resides in Trinidad & Tobago, the most southerly state in the Caribbean Archipelago. Dexter or Sheppie as he prefers to be called began writing short stories for an English Literature course while pursuing his Baccalaureate degree, where he was advised to pursue writing professionally. Soon after graduating with his undergraduate degree in 2001, officially began his educational practice as a lecturer and tutor at two tertiary level educational institutions in several courses within the Business and ICT disciplines. He holds a BSc Degree in Computer Info Sys and an ASc Degree in Bus. Admin. He is a licensed member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry after being awarded a third level Business Diploma in Marketing. He is also a graduate from the University Of Sheffield (UK) with a Master of Education Degree in Educational Studies (Instructional Strategies Thesis). During his spare time, he does a generous amount of writing and doing online research for educational purposes and to ensure the authenticity of his novels. He is a self taught artist, who sketches, draws and paints using various media and mixed media: acrylic, water colours, pastels, pencils and charcoal. He has worked with computer systems since 1988 and an ICT Professional gaining tremendous experience working with the Trinidad and Tobago Public Service with responsibility for planning and streamlining all Gov't websites and services, which is now call 'ttconnect'. Upon completing his contractual obligation, he returned to the country’s state-owned water utility (WASA) where he worked other ICT & eGIS projects.
