Michael attended the United States Academy at WestPoint receiving a Bachelor of Science in General Management, and a Field ofStudy in Systems Engineering. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant into theUnited States Army in 1996. Michael then attended the Military Police OfficerBasic Course in Alabama. On December 2, 1996 he arrived in Germany for hisfirst assignment as a Military Police Platoon Leader. In 1998 he deployed hisplatoon for six months to Bosnia and Herzegovina for NATO peace keepingoperations. After his return from Bosnia, he held positions as a BattalionPersonnel Officer and a Group Intelligence Officer in Hanau, Germany. In July2001, Michael received an Honorable Discharge and left the Army to pursue acareer as a financial advisor.

Since January 2002, Michael has been helping UnitedStates Expatriates and American military personnel living in Germany to achievetheir personal financial goals. Michael is currently working as an InvestmentAdvisor Representative of Intervest International Incorporated, servingAmericans both overseas and in the United States. He offers comprehensivefinancial plans that include personal savings and investments, and a detailedrisk management strategy.

After living overseas for over 13 years, Michael hasbecome well versed in the Expat experience. Part of that experience consistedof extensive research in finding a high quality international health care plan.In 2006, Michael started offering and working with International HealthInsurance, and International Travel Insurance. Shortly after this, Michaelcreated www.expat-health.com to offer his clients the ability to purchase ExpatHealth Insurance Online. Expat-Health.com started working exclusively withInternational Medical Group (IMG) in December 2010. Michael currently holds the following National Association of Security Dealers Licenses: Series 26, 6, 63, and 65. He also holds various State Health and Life Insurance Licenses in the United States.

Michael is an active member of The Crossing Church in Tampa where he volunteers with the Ironmen Group, he is a Small Group Leader for 4th Grade Students, and is a Prayer Partner. He has one daughter that is in her senior year of High School. He also is the current Vice President for the West Point Society Florida West Coast Alumni Chapter. Michael also volunteers with the 1 Voice Foundation, working with Pediatric Cancer patients and their families. He is also a Life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Association of the United States Army.
