Born in southern Italy, Bari city (Apulia), she has always been a lover and supporter of Reggae Dancehall Music and of the African & Jamaican culture. Her passion take her around many concerts, festivals and reggae dancehall parties, that enrich her culture and artistic experience. Moved by the big love for this music and its messages, Mad Betty start to collect albums and singles of various artists and to collaborate in the organization of events and tours of national and international artists . Select becomes her first passion, hearing this music as a true mission, spreading and sharing fully the messages and the positive vibrations.

The 8th March 2008 she has performed for her first time...and since then she can’t stop!

The selection and the fire of Mad Betty have turned in many Dancehall Reggae nights, events, concerts and festivals first in her city, Bari, and then in all Italy and recently in the UK, Bristol and London, Austria in Vienna and Norway in Stavanger.

Mad Betty played with many national and international artists and sounds like Sizzla Kalonji, Skarra Mucci, Lampa Dread (One Love Hi Pawa), Earl Gateshead (Trojan Sound System), Etana, Gappy Ranks, General Leavy, High Grade, Rhomanife, Nico Mudu, Hunza, Tizla, Clementino, Rocco Hunt ,Tormento, Bad&Break, KillaCat, SuperBass, Fada Kinky, Sun Sooley, Inoki, Gamba the Lenk & Catchy, Pushman, Villa Ada, Gecky from Heavy Hammer, Jamano, Rankin Lele, Mama Marias, Miss Mikela, Tarantattak, Lu Marra, Zulu 99 Posse, Brusco, Keedo, TushungPeng, Train to Roots and many others ..

In the same time in her city, she has organized many Dancehall Reggae & Hip Hop events with many artists and soundsystem.

Mad Betty is currently working for the "FemaleFire" project and she is part of the Trinidad SoundSystem "Problematix Sound".

Her selections go through Roots, Reggae, Raggamuffin, Dancehall, Soca, Ragga, Bash, Hip HoP and African Music.

Nata nel Sud Italia, Bari (Puglia), da sempre è amante e supporter della Reggae Dancehall Music e della cultura africana e jamaicana. La sua passione continua e crescente, la spinge in giro per concerti, festival e innumerevoli reggae dancehall nights, che arricchiscono concretamente la sua cultura ed esperienza artistica. Spinta dall’amore per questa musica e dai sui messaggi, inizia a collezionare e raccogliere album e singoli di numerosi artisti e a collaborare nell’ organizzazione di eventi e tour con artisti nazionali ed internazionali. Selezionare diventa la sua prima passione, sentendo questa musica come vera missione, diffondendo e condividendo a pieno ciò che essa esprime ed impazzendo follemente per il suo ritmo in battere e levare!
