Lucas Scheffold wasborn in Sweden 1965. He started as a sing and song writer in theearly 80’Th. He wrote many songs about the life, booth politicalsongs and spiritual songs about the searching, desiring and theseparate fear and loneliness. For him the music became a gift toexpress the problem of humanity but also to inspire people to livetheir visions and to strive after a life in love and harmony.

In the end of the80’th he decided to go in for the instrumental guitar music. Hestarted experimenting with different open tunings and he developed aquite unique way of playing the guitar. He became very inspired bythe Nordic and Celtic folk music and in the 90’th he decided tocompletely chose the instrumental music.

The guitar is andhas always been his main instrument but beside sing and song writingand instrumental guitar music, he also composes more meditative andexperimental music and also compositions in classical style.

In the middle of the10’Th he decided to resume his sing and song writing and heproduced the album “Tid” (Time) that is a collection of hisfavorite songs.
