Mexican singer and songwriter Leticia Servin started singing covers of popular Latin songs at the age of 19 while studying at a Music Academy in Morelia.
During the early '90s, Servin participated in different bands, performing everything from traditional folklore to alternative rock, including an acoustic duet called Salida de Emergencia. In 1998, the artist decided to pursue a solo career, releasing a self-titled independent record and forming his own band a year later. In February of 2000, Leticia Servin, along with bassist Aner Miranda, singer/guitarist Yuri Nilo, and percussionist Gerardo Charretón, recorded an album called Mundo Matraca. ~ Drago Bonacich
