Leeann Flynn is an Australian alternative Folk-Rock Singer/ Songwriter and musician.
2013 is the year for the release of Leeann's much anticipated sixth album; a collection of beautifully crafted alternative acoustic songs. Her rich folk roots and jazz nuances lead you out on the road, and into the heart of the Australian bush.

Leeann’s entry into the music industry began in her teenage years; performing as a soloist and with a number of bands in around her home town of Coonabarabran. Her music reflects her unique approach to life;‘it is a journey of adventure to be cherished’. Her authenticity as a composer shines through with crystal clear vocals and effortless guitar sounds. She is able to take you along the path she has trod, sharing her stories, feelings and sometimes challenging opinions in song; fusing the various styles of jazz, blues, Celtic,country and alternative folk rock.

She recorded and released her first solo album in the Blue Mountains at Windwood Studios 1991 "People of a Promising Land" through CrossCurrents Music. She then went on to release "Carry God's Light" in 1995 and "Here to Stand" 1998. These albums grew out of Leeann's background in Gospel folk-rock, and reflect her Celtic and Jazz stylings.

“Here to Stand” - marked a change in direction for Leeann as a crossover album into mainstream alternative folk and received high acclaim in new age ambient circles and the alternative acoustic folk scene.

In 2001, Leeann recorded her fourth album "Fly to the Moon"(Country-Rock)at The Freezer with renowned 'Angels/SkyHooks' guitarist Bob Spencer. Since then Leeann has set up a new record label and has released her most recent album compilation entitled "A Million Stars" 2012.
