LaMarley was born Lamar Dejuan Johnson in Oakland, CA,on May 26,1990.
He is the fifth of eleven children, raised by a couple of hard working African Americans. Starting out as a hip-hop/r&b/poetry ghostwriter for a personal friend in high-school and later merged into rapping for a greater share of the spotlight. Slowly, but surely, LaMarley's rebuilding the foundation of music.
