Mexican heavy metal band La Bruja was formed in 1994 debuting at a local rock festival playing along with Heavy Nopal, Lira and Rock and Darkness.
By the end of that same year, La Bruja had the opportunity to share a stage with one of the most prominent groups in the Spanish metal scene Los Angeles del Infierno, and in January of 1995, with El Tri. During that year the band participated in an ecological campaign against toxic disposal at the Guadalcazar area. By the end of 1998, La Bruja released Rompe Con Todo after signing up to an independent label called Cimusa. ~ Drago Bonacich
